Job Description

Meta is building one of the world's largest and most advanced data center infrastructure portfolios, and the Area Project Controls Manager plays a critical role in ensuring that the capital construction program is delivered on time, within budget, and to defined quality standards. In this role, you will lead a small team of project controls professionals on this first-of-a-kind, multiple GW-scale region, establishing and enforcing controls frameworks that span cost management, schedule analysis, risk quantification, and change management. You will partner closely with the Construction Director, supply chain executives and teams, procurement, and finance to provide integrated program visibility and drive data-informed decision-making to enable this unprecedented scale.
Qualifications:
10+ years of experience in project controls, construction management, or program management on large-scale capital construction or infrastructure projects Experience in managing or leading project control teams across large capital projects or programs Experience in developing and presenting cost and schedule performance reports to senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders Experience with project controls software platforms such as Primavera P6, Oracle Unifier, Procore, or equivalent construction program management tools Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools to optimize/redesign workflows and drive measurable impact (e.g., efficiency gains, quality improvements) Experience adhering to and implementing responsible, ethical AI practices (e.g., risk assessment, bias mitigation, quality and accuracy reviews) Demonstrated ongoing AI skill development (e.g., prompt/context engineering, agent orchestration) and staying current with emerging AI technologies Experience adhering to and implementing responsible, ethical AI practices (e.g., risk assessment, bias mitigation, quality and accuracy reviews) Professional certifications such as Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Cost Professional (CCP), or Planning and Scheduling Professional (PSP) Demonstrated ongoing AI skill development (e.g., prompt/context engineering, agent orchestration) and staying current with emerging AI technologies Experience integrating project controls data across cost, schedule, and risk systems to produce unified program dashboards and portfolio-level analytics Experience applying earned value management, critical path method scheduling, and cost forecasting methodologies on mission-critical or heavy civil construction programs Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools to optimize/redesign workflows and drive measurable impact (e.g., efficiency gains, quality improvements) Experience supporting project controls on hyperscale data center, semiconductor fabrication, or other large-scale, mission-critical facility construction programs
