We create functional, beautiful spaces that are meant to be enjoyed — not just lived in. Our projects combine craftsmanship, organization, and strong client communication to deliver exceptional results from concept to completion. We are growing and looking for a highly organized, motivated Project Manager to join our team. Position Overview The Project Manager will oversee residential construction and landscape projects from pre-construction through final completion. This role requires strong leadership, scheduling, communication, and problem-solving skills to ensure projects are completed on time, on budget, and to KLR Build standards. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, confident managing subcontractors and clients, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Manage multiple residential construction and landscape projects simultaneously Coordinate schedules, subcontractors, materials, and inspections Maintain project timelines and budgets Communicate directly with clients throughout the project lifecycle Conduct site visits and oversee daily project progress Ensure quality control and adherence to company standards Resolve project issues quickly and professionally Work closely with the design and sales team during project handoff Maintain accurate project documentation and reporting Ensure job sites remain organized, safe, and efficient Qualifications Experience in construction, landscape construction, or project management Strong organizational and leadership skills Excellent communication and customer service abilities Ability to manage timelines and prioritize tasks effectively Experience coordinating subcontractors and vendors Proficient with project management software (Buildertrend experience is a plus) Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to read plans and understand construction processes preferred What We're Looking For Self-motivated and accountable Solution-oriented mindset Professional appearance and communication Strong attention to detail Team player with leadership ability Passion for creating high-quality outdoor spaces Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary based on experience Performance bonuses available Growth opportunities within the company Company vehicle or vehicle allowance (if applicable) Paid time off Supportive and growth-focused team environment Location Based in North San Diego California with local project travel required.
