Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic construction team as an Assistant Project Coordinator and be a vital part of delivering successful projects from inception to completion. This role offers an exciting opportunity to support project managers in coordinating various aspects of construction projects, ensuring smooth operations, and maintaining high standards of quality and safety. Responsibilities Assist in developing and updating project schedules to ensure timely project delivery. Support project managers with contract administration, including reviewing and managing contracts, change orders, and procurement documentation. Coordinate communication between subcontractors, suppliers, clients, and internal teams to facilitate seamless project execution. Prepare and maintain detailed project documentation such as progress reports, RFIs (Requests for Information), submittals, and daily logs. Utilize construction estimating tools like HeavyBid to assist in cost tracking and budget management. Monitor on-site activities to ensure compliance with safety protocols, quality standards, and project specifications. Assist with the review of blueprints and drawings using Bluebeam or similar software to facilitate accurate implementation of design plans. Skills Stong Computer Skills and Typing Strong understanding of construction estimating, project scheduling, and project management principles. Hands-on experience with construction site activities and familiarity with construction safety standards. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively under tight deadlines. Effective communication skills for coordinating between teams, clients, and stakeholders. Knowledge of contracts administration and construction law is a plus. Ability to adapt quickly to changing project needs while maintaining attention to detail in all aspects of work. Pay:
