Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems has an opening for an Principal or Sr. Principal Project Manager , to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be full time in the office and located in San Diego, CA (preferred) or Palmdale, CA.

• Basic Qualifications for Principal Project Management (level 3): Must have a Bachelor's degree and 5 years of relevant professional experience OR a Master's degree and 3 years relevant professional experience OR a PhD degree and 1 year relevant professional experience. Must have experience with understanding cost types (e.

Direct, Indirect) and cost elements (e.

g:

Labor, Fringe, Overhead, General and Administrative (G&A), Travel, etc). Must have knowledge of Product Support Technical Disciplines (i.e Reliability and Maintainability (R&M), Technical Publications, DMSMS and Obsolescence, Training, Modeling and Simulation (M&S), etc) Must have experience with BOE, Technical Assessment Matrix (TAM), and/or Rough Order Magnitude (ROM) development. Ability to obtain and maintain a government issued secret clearance within a reasonable period, as determined by the company to meet its business needs. Basic Qualifications for Sr Principal Project Management (level 4): Must have a Bachelor's degree and 8 years of relevant professional experience OR a Master's degree and 6 years relevant professional experience. Or a PhD degree and 4 years of relevant professional experience. Must have experience with understanding cost types (e.

Active In-Scope Secret or Top Secret Security Clearance Previous experience working Product Support efforts on development and/or sustainment programs. Knowledge of government proposal Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), and Defense FARs (DFAR) government regulations Experience with an NGAS Business Unit Proposal Review Board (PRB) process Working knowledge and experience with data visualization and business intelligence platforms (e.

Tableau, PowerBI) Experience with Earned Value Management experience as a Work Package Manager (WPM) or Control Account Manager (CAM) Previous experience working on RQ4 or MQ4 programs

Primary Level Salary Range:

$94,200.00 - $176,300.00

Secondary Level Salary Range:

$0.00 - $0.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
