Full-Time Position Overview HPL is seeking an experienced Project Manager specializing in Contract Furniture to oversee commercial furniture projects from order placement through final installation. This role is responsible for managing client communication, coordinating internal teams, tracking project timelines, and ensuring successful delivery of high-quality furniture solutions. The ideal candidate has experience in the contract furniture industry, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining excellent client relationships. Key Responsibilities Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle, providing regular updates and ensuring project expectations are met. Lead client meetings, coordinate project details, and communicate timelines, changes, and solutions. Review project quotes and specifications for accuracy prior to order processing. Enter and manage customer orders while tracking project milestones, production schedules, and factory shipping dates. Coordinate with sales, production, purchasing, and logistics teams to ensure smooth project execution. Manage delivery schedules and coordinate installation teams, site requirements, and project logistics. Identify and resolve project challenges while maintaining timelines, quality standards, and customer satisfaction. Maintain accurate project documentation, including schedules, order information, and client communications. Manage multiple projects simultaneously while prioritizing deadlines and customer needs. Qualifications Minimum 2 years of experience in contract office furniture, commercial interiors, dealership operations, or a related industry. Strong understanding of contract furniture project workflows, including quoting, order processing, manufacturing, delivery, and installation. Experience coordinating with manufacturers, vendors, installers, and clients. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel. Experience with contract furniture software such as TeamDesign, CAP 20/20, or similar industry tools preferred. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to problem-solve, manage competing priorities, and work effectively across multiple teams.
