Growing General Contractor The Opportunity A growing General Contractor in Northern California is looking to add an Assistant Project Manager / Project Engineer to its Water/Wastewater team in the Bay Area. This is a great opportunity for someone with at least 3 years of water/wastewater construction experience who wants to take the next step in their career and gain greater responsibility across project delivery and management. The company has a strong pipeline of work across Northern California and is looking for someone who can grow with the business and progress toward a Project Manager position . Responsibilities Support the delivery of water and wastewater treatment plant projects from preconstruction through closeout Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, procurement and project documentation Assist with project schedules, budgets, forecasting and cost control Coordinate with Superintendents, subcontractors, engineers, owners and vendors Support field operations and help resolve design and construction issues Track materials, equipment and subcontractor scopes Assist with progress meetings, owner/client communication and project reporting Support commissioning, startup and project closeout activities Ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule and in accordance with contract requirements What We're Looking For Minimum 3 years of construction experience within water/wastewater Experience working for a General Contractor or self-performing civil contractor Exposure to water/wastewater treatment plants, pump stations, pipelines, underground utilities and/or process mechanical construction Strong understanding of RFIs, submittals, change orders and construction documentation Ability to work closely with both field and project management teams Strong communication, organization and problem-solving skills Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related field preferred Experience with software such as Procore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project is beneficial Why Join?
