Security Project Coordinator

Description Job Description Job Summary:

Junior Project Manager/Project Analyst to join our team in Rocklin, CA. This role will support a portfolio of projects within our technology and security teams, ensuring project schedules are managed effectively, tasks are followed up on, and project-related information is consolidated based on provided guidance.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Coordination:

Assist in planning, designing, and implementing projects using MS Project to build and manage project plans. Outline tasks involved, set deadlines, assign responsibilities, and monitor progress.

Task Management:

Follow up on task progress and ensure timely completion of project milestones.

Data Analysis:

Support light Excel-based data analysis to track project metrics and performance. Analyze data directly from Excel to inform project decisions.

Information Consolidation:

Consolidate project-related information and prepare reports for upper management regarding the status of projects.

Stakeholder Interaction:

Coordinate with multiple groups across the tech organization and security teams to keep everyone on task and informed. Navigate and move across teams effectively.

Documentation:

Ensure project documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and properly filed.

Communication:

Maintain good communication with all stakeholders, providing updates as necessary. Set up meetings and send emails to facilitate project progress.

Issue Resolution:

Assist in the resolution of any issues that may arise during the project lifecycle.

MFA Work Tracking:

Track all Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) work and ensure it is progressing as planned.

Account Takeover Recognition:

Recognize and address account takeovers as part of the security team's efforts.

Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience:

1-2 years of experience in project management or a related role.

Skills:

Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Excel, and other data analysis tools. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams. Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality. Experience Level Intermediate Level Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Rocklin, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $55.00/hr.
