Job Description

EDUCATION
: Bachelor's degree required. Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Real Estate or Urban Planning w/emphasis in City Planning and Development preferred, or equivalent combination of related experience and education from accredited program.
EXPERIENCE
1 - 3 years' experience in residential land development, construction and/or project management required. Experience tracking budgets, schedules, or project performance metrics necessary.
SKILLS :
  • Proven time management skills; completing all tasks in a timely manner.
  • Proficient computer skills including Internet, Word, Excel, MS Project, Outlook and Outlook Teams required.
  • Strives for continuous improvement and takes pride in all work performed.
  • Demonstrates an ability to solve problems, generating solutions and implementing them.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Contributes to teams' success beyond immediate responsibility.
  • Must project a professional presence and calming demeaner always, especially when dealing with difficult situations and people.
  • Ability to read and understand civil improvement plans.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work across teams.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Support the CDM in planning and executing land development projects from sitework through completion. Maintain and track detailed project schedules, milestones, and deliverables to ensure timely execution utilizing MS Project. Assist in managing project budgets, including tracking costs, reviewing invoices, and supporting the change order processes. Coordinate with subcontractors, consultants, and internal teams to ensure alignment on project scope, schedules, and deliverables, while proactively addressing potential gaps or conflicts. Prepare and maintain project documentation, including contracts, reports, meeting notes, and status updates. Monitor project progress and proactively identify risks, delays, or cost impacts. Facilitate communication between field teams, construction, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth handoffs and site readiness. Support permitting, inspections, check requests, and agency coordination to maintain project timelines. Assist with project closeout, including punch list tracking, documentation, and final acceptance. Assist with Department of Real Estate and sit on HOA Boards with the DRE Coordinator and
CDM. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Perform Other Duties as needed.

Salary Range:
$88,000 - $108,000 - $128,000 Salary commensurate with skills, knowledge, and experience.
