Project Coordinator San Diego, CA PM/CM Services Owner's Representative

Bill Moran Description seeks an experienced and dedicated Project Coordinator to join our Southern California region in San Diego and build a long-term career at one of the most innovative and growth-oriented building companies in the United States. Overview Provide clerical and administrative support, as well as all document control for the SDCCD program on the San Diego Mesa College Campus. Duties and Responsibilities Fulfills project clerical needs at the campus level, including data entry, document management, copying, and distribution of program- and project-related documents Performs document control for all incoming and outgoing submittals, substitutions, architectural supplemental instructions (ASIs), requests for information (RFIs), contract documents, changes, schedules, reports, and closeout documentation in accordance with Construction Document Management (CDM) guidelines Maintains a professional and efficient presence in all internal and external interactions Records and distributes meeting minutes, agendas, and attendance records as requested Initiates contact and coordinates meeting and construction activity scheduling with campus stakeholders involved in bond-related projects Provides building access to contractors and subcontractors performing work on bond-related projects Executes project closeout requirements in accordance with contract documents Distributes project documentation and coordinates delivery and pickup of materials with the architect, owner, and City offices, including incoming and outgoing mail Documents, tracks, and files all project correspondence and documents Maintains and distributes change order logs and summaries Coordinates preparation of campus weekly and monthly reports in collaboration with the Director of Bond Coordination Coordinates with the District Communications Team on District monthly reports Maintains project files (including as-builts) and resource files of reports and studies for training and marketing Applies quality control processes to ensure all work products are accurate and reflect and Client standards Performs additional duties as assigned Requirements Education and Experience Associates Degree in related field, or equivalent is preferred 4 or more years of position related work experience in office administration or related field, preferably in architecture, engineering and construction management industry is required Knowledge and Skills Knowledge of administrative office procedures and operation of standard office equipment is required Proficient user skills with Bluebeam, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook software is required Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to represent the company in a professional manner, is required Ability to demonstrate the competencies of achieving results, initiative, communication and teamwork is required Commitment to the values of with attention to honesty and integrity, quality of work and customer satisfaction is required Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality is required License and Certifications Valid driver's license with an acceptable motor vehicle record, free from suspensions or restrictions, is required Travel Requirement Travel may be required up to 25% of the time between campus and District Office & Facilities Office or other locations as needed. Work Environment While performing the duties of this job, the employee frequently inspects the various bond projects on campus and may be exposed to ongoing construction and various weather conditions, while wearing personal protective equipment. The noise level in the work environment may range from moderate to loud. The worker is subject to both environmental conditions due to work activities occurring both inside and outside. Physical Requirements While performing the duties of this job, the position is moderately active and the employee is frequently standing, walking, reaching, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing. The position may also be sitting for long periods of time. The employee may frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds. Summary
