Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Cabinet Draftsman/Project Manager to join our innovative design and construction team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead cabinetry projects from conceptual design through to execution, ensuring precision, quality, and client satisfaction. As a pivotal member of our team, you will blend technical expertise with project management skills to deliver outstanding results on diverse interior and system design projects. Your energetic approach will drive project success, foster collaboration, and elevate our standards of excellence. Responsibilities Develop detailed cabinet and interior system drawings using CAD software such as AutoCAD, Chief Architect and other programs ensuring accuracy and adherence to project specifications. Create schematic layouts, 2D plans, elevations, sections, and detailed fabrication drawings for cabinetry and interior systems. Produce realistic visualizations and presentations for clients and internal teams. Collaborate closely with team to refine designs and resolve technical challenges throughout the project lifecycle. Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards. Oversee the drafting process from initial concept through construction documentation, ensuring all drawings meet industry standards and safety regulations. Coordinate with manufacturing teams to ensure designs are feasible for production and installation. Prepare comprehensive schematics for mechanical systems or graphic design elements as needed for integrated projects. Conduct site visits to verify installation accuracy and resolve on-site issues promptly. Maintain organized records of all drawings, revisions, and project documentation for seamless communication across teams. Experience Proven experience in cabinetry drafting or interior system design within a construction or architectural environment. Proficiency in CAD software including AutoCAD, Chief Architect, or similar platforms. Strong knowledge of construction processes, system design principles, schematics development, and drafting standards. Familiarity with graphic design tools and 2D animation techniques is a plus for creating compelling presentations. Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and clients. A background in mechanical design or interior design enhances the ability to deliver comprehensive solutions.
