$130,000 - $160,000. DOE + Benefits, Bonus and Allowances BBSI has partnered with a nationally recognized Commercial General Contractor specializing in restaurant, fitness, office, and retail construction. With continued expansion nationwide, fueled by a strong pipeline of projects, we are looking to add an experienced Project Manager to our growing and dynamic team. Job Summary The Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and closing construction projects. They oversee resource allocation, manage budgets and schedules, maintain client relationships, and ensure that work adheres to quality and safety standards. This role demands strong and consistent leadership and communication skills, along with a thorough understanding of construction processes and best practices. Essential Functions Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation, to guide the project's execution Monitor project budgets, control costs, and make financial decisions to ensure the project remains within budgetary constraints Create and manage project schedules, track progress and adjust timelines to meet project deadlines Coordinate and allocate resources such as labor, materials, and equipment to ensure smooth project progress Ensure construction work meets quality standards and regulatory requirements through effective quality control Enforce safety regulations and best practices, ensuring a safe work environment for all workers Identify potential risks and mitigate them by developing contingency plans as necessary Manage project changes, including project scope, schedule, and budget adjustments, with proper documentation and approvals Oversee contracts with subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring compliance with all terms and conditions Maintain open and effective communication with project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and team members Conduct regular site visits to inspect work, monitor progress, and address any emerging issues Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, ensuring their expectations are met within the constraints of the budget
Qualifications :
5+ years of commercial construction project management experience , including ground-up and tenant improvement projects Strong knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, building codes, permitting, and safety regulations Proficiency in Procore, MS Project, and Microsoft Office (Word & Excel) Proven leadership, organizational, and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously Ability to coordinate effectively with owners, subcontractors, and field teams to deliver projects on time and within budget Self-motivated, highly organized professional capable of working independently with minimal supervision Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred; PMP certification a plus Demonstrated ability to prioritize workloads, ensure subcontractor performance, maintain quality standards, and drive process improvements
