Position Overview The Commercial Construction Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing commercial construction projects from preconstruction through final completion and closeout . The ideal candidate will have strong project management, financial, scheduling, leadership, and client-management skills. This individual will work closely with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, vendors, and internal project teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, safely, and to the highest quality standards . Key Responsibilities Manage commercial construction projects from preconstruction through completion Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and forecasts Monitor project financial performance, costs, and profitability Coordinate owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, vendors, and project stakeholders Review construction plans, specifications, scopes of work, and contracts Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, purchase orders, and project documentation Review subcontractor performance and manage project coordination Conduct project meetings and provide regular project updates Identify potential project risks and develop effective solutions Maintain strong relationships with owners and clients Ensure projects remain on schedule and within established budgets Oversee quality control and ensure work complies with plans and specifications Support and enforce company safety standards and procedures Manage project closeout, punch lists, warranties, and final documentation Lead and mentor project team members Maintain accurate and organized project records Ideal Candidate The successful candidate will have: 3+ years of commercial construction Project Management experience Strong understanding of commercial construction processes Experience managing project budgets, schedules, contracts, and subcontractors Excellent communication and leadership skills Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Strong client-facing and relationship-building skills Proficiency with construction management software and Microsoft Office Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field preferred What the Company Offers This is more than just another Project Manager position.
