Job Description Job Description & Skill Requirement:
Key Responsibilities Customer Interface & Program Coordination
  • Serve as the primary onsite point of contact between the customer and offsite engineering teams.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customer engineering, manufacturing, operations, quality, and program management stakeholders.
  • Translate customer priorities, production challenges, and technical requirements into clear actions for remote teams.
  • Facilitate regular customer meetings, project reviews, and status updates.
  • Manage project communication, issue escalation, and resolution activities. Engineering Coordination
  • Coordinate activities between onsite customer personnel and offsite design, manufacturing, and quality engineers.
  • Review engineering requests, prioritize work, and ensure timely execution of deliverables.
  • Monitor engineering progress, milestones, risks, and action item closure.
  • Support engineering change implementation and ensure alignment across all stakeholders.
  • Drive accountability for project schedules and technical deliverables. Manufacturing Support
  • Provide onsite manufacturing support and technical coordination for mechanical and electrical aerospace products.
  • Work closely with production teams to identify manufacturing issues and coordinate resolution efforts.
  • Support root cause and corrective action activities related to quality or production concerns.
  • Coordinate manufacturing readiness, process improvements, and production issue investigations.
  • Assist with first article inspections, process validation activities, and production transitions when required. Project Management & Reporting
  • Track project schedules, deliverables, budgets, risks, and performance metrics.
  • Prepare executive-level status reports and customer-facing presentations.
  • Maintain action item logs, issue trackers, risk registers, and project documentation.
  • Proactively identify schedule risks, resource constraints, and potential customer impacts.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve communication, execution, and customer satisfaction. Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Project Management, Business, or a related technical discipline.
  • 5+ years of experience in aerospace manufacturing, engineering project coordination, or technical program management.
  • Due to the nature of the work and contracts, US Citizenship is required
  • Experience working in an aerospace production or engineering environment.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical aerospace components and manufacturing processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional engineering and manufacturing teams.
  • Experience working directly with customers in a highly visible onsite role.
  • Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, project tracking systems, and engineering change processes.
  • Ability to work independently and make informed decisions in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Preferred Qualifications
  • Aerospace industry experience supporting OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, or aerospace manufacturing facilities.
  • Knowledge of GD&T, blueprint interpretation, manufacturing process control, and quality systems.
  • Experience supporting NPI (New Product Introduction), production support, or sustaining engineering activities.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or equivalent.
  • Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, PMP, or equivalent certifications.
  • Experience coordinating both mechanical and electrical engineering teams.
Qualification:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Project Management, Business, or a related technical discipline.
