Job Description

Requirements:
  • U.S. Citizen — mandatory.
  • Minimum 5+ years of aerospace industry experience.
  • Aerospace forgings experience is strongly preferred.
  • Proven experience leading large-scale audit programs.
  • Experience with product audits.
  • Experience with compliance assessments.
  • Strong understanding of configuration planning.
  • Strong understanding of configuration management.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience within quality organizations.
  • Experience appropriate for a Project Manager / Quality Manager-level contract resource.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a large-scale aerospace quality audit program at Shultz Steel in South Gate, California.
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute a comprehensive product audit program.
  • Conduct and/or oversee product audits to evaluate product quality, processes, and compliance.
  • Assess compliance with applicable aerospace quality requirements.
  • Lead compliance assessments and identify quality or compliance gaps.
  • Support configuration planning activities.
  • Support and manage configuration management activities throughout the audit program.
  • Coordinate quality audit activities, schedules, deliverables, and resources to ensure program objectives are met.
  • Provide leadership within the quality organization and guide audit-related activities.
  • Manage communication and relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Communicate audit findings, compliance issues, status, and recommendations clearly to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Coordinate with quality, engineering, manufacturing, configuration management, and other relevant organizations as required.
  • Provide experienced quality leadership throughout the engagement and support successful completion of the overall audit initiative.

$65.00 - $75.00 per hour
