Backed by Cowboy Group's more than 20 years of industry experience and state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities in China, Mooton offers five product lines: outdoor playground equipment, water park equipment, indoor playground equipment, early childhood play spaces, and family play spaces. As our U.S. business continues to expand, we are seeking an Outdoor Products Sales & Project Manager to help grow our customer base and lead projects from initial opportunity through final delivery. This role is ideal for a proactive, client-focused professional who wants to represent a growing international business, develop long-term customer relationships, and deliver outstanding projects from concept to completion. Job Summary The Outdoor Playgrounds Sales & Project Manager will develop U.S. market opportunities and lead the full project lifecycle for the company's outdoor playgrounds. This client-facing role combines consultative sales, project management, and on-site delivery—from needs discovery, solution development, quoting, and contract negotiation through design coordination, production, logistics, installation, acceptance, and issue resolution. Key Responsibilities Sales and Business Development
  • Develop new business and manage sales opportunities for outdoor playgrounds and related projects in the U.S. market.
  • Build and maintain relationships with dealers, landscape architects, architecture firms, general contractors, developers, schools, churches, parks, and other relevant customers.
  • Understand project requirements, site conditions, budgets, schedules, and product expectations; identify key decision factors and project risks.
  • Partner with design and engineering teams to prepare product solutions, concept designs, technical recommendations, and project proposals.
  • Prepare quotations, manage commercial discussions, negotiate contracts, and advance orders with clear, executable delivery requirements.
  • Manage sales pipelines, follow up on opportunities, and improve conversion through disciplined account and opportunity management.
  • Build long-term customer relationships that generate repeat business, referrals, and cross-selling opportunities. Project Management
  • Serve as the primary project owner after order confirmation, managing the project from design through final delivery.
  • Build and manage project plans, key milestones, customer approvals, risk logs, and project documentation.
  • Coordinate customers with internal design, engineering, production, purchasing, logistics, and other teams to maintain accurate information and clear accountability.
  • Manage drawings, specifications, materials, colors, technical requirements, and change-control processes.
  • Track production progress, quality requirements, packaging, and shipment plans; resolve issues that could affect delivery.
  • Coordinate freight, customs clearance where applicable, site receipt, and installation readiness.
  • Identify and resolve commercial, technical, supply, logistics, and site-execution risks in a timely manner. Project Delivery and Site Execution
  • Participate in site visits, customer meetings, and installation coordination as required to understand site conditions and execution constraints.
  • Coordinate installers, general contractors, and customer site teams; clarify scope interfaces, schedules, and safety requirements.
  • Confirm site readiness, construction conditions, schedules, and resources before installation.
  • Monitor installation progress and coordinate timely resolution of field issues to support successful completion.
  • Lead project handover, customer acceptance, and follow-up on outstanding items or warranty-related issues.
  • Capture lessons learned and improve sales, project-management, and delivery processes. Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in sales, business, engineering management, project management, landscape architecture, architecture, mechanical engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience in sales, project management, engineering projects, construction projects, or project delivery.
  • Strong customer communication, consultative selling, commercial negotiation, and account-management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities and drive work to closure.
  • Strong time management, cross-functional coordination, and problem-solving skills.
  • High ownership and results orientation, with the ability to stay engaged from the first sales conversation through final handover.
  • Willingness to travel within the United States and work at project sites as needed.
  • Professional working proficiency in English. Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in commercial playground equipment, outdoor recreation, landscape amenities, or a related industry.
  • Background in landscape architecture, architecture, construction, engineering, or project delivery.
  • B2B, project-based sales experience, including quotations, contracts, production coordination, installation, and customer acceptance.
  • Familiarity with U.S. markets for parks, schools, real estate, hotels and resorts, or commercial developments.
  • Knowledge of ASTM, CPSC, ADA, or U.S. playground-related standards.
  • Established relationships with dealers, landscape architects, architecture firms, general contractors, or similar customer groups.
  • Bilingual Chinese-English communication skills.
Pay:
$72,000.00 - $84,000.00 per year
