Position SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to lead the successful execution of commercial, mission-critical, and data center electrical construction projects. This individual will oversee all aspects of project delivery, including budgeting, scheduling, procurement, subcontractor management, client relations, and field coordination. The ideal candidate combines strong technical electrical knowledge with exceptional leadership and communication skills to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key ResponsibilitiesManage electrical construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, forecasts, and manpower plans.
Coordinate project teams including Project Engineers, Superintendents, Foremen, subcontractors, and vendors.
Review contract documents, drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
Lead procurement activities for equipment, materials, and subcontracted services.
Prepare and manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation.
Monitor project financial performance, including cost tracking, billings, forecasting, and profitability.
Serve as the primary point of contact for owners, general contractors, architects, engineers, and stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company standards, and project quality requirements.
Conduct regular project meetings and provide status updates to leadership and clients.
Support field operations by resolving technical issues and coordinating resources.
Manage project closeout activities including commissioning, punch lists, turnover documentation, and warranty support.
QualificationsBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or related field preferred.5+ years of experience managing electrical construction projects.
Experience with commercial, industrial, healthcare, higher education, mission-critical, or data center projects strongly preferred.
Strong understanding of NEC, electrical systems, construction practices, and project lifecycle management.
Proficiency with project management software, scheduling tools, Microsoft Office Suite, and construction management platforms.
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracts.
Strong financial acumen and experience managing project budgets and forecasts.
Proven ability to lead teams and build strong client relationships.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred ExperienceDesign-build or EPC project experience.
Data center, hyperscale, semiconductor, or mission-critical project background.
Experience managing projects valued from $5M-$100M+.Knowledge of commissioning, startup, and testing procedures.
Experience leading multiple concurrent projects and teams.
