Job Description:
We are seeking a Senior Project Manager - Mechanical to lead large-scale commercial and mission-critical projects from preconstruction through closeout. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader with strong MEP expertise, financial ownership, and the ability to drive performance across field and office teams. You'll play a key role in delivering complex mechanical builds while partnering closely with operations, field leadership, and clients to ensure successful execution. What You'll Do Lead end-to-end project execution for large-scale mechanical construction projects Manage project budgets, schedules, and financial performance , including forecasting and cost control Oversee buyout strategy, subcontractor negotiations, and contract administration Drive labor planning, productivity, and field coordination with superintendents and field teams Maintain strong control of billing, cash flow, and project financial health Lead preconstruction turnover, project setup, and scheduling efforts Ensure all permits, submittals, and documentation are properly managed Handle change orders, pricing, and client negotiations Conduct regular project meetings and provide updates to leadership Champion safety, quality, and operational excellence across all project phases What We're Looking For 10-15+ years of progressive project management experience Strong background in mechanical or MEP construction Experience leading large-scale commercial or industrial projects Proven ability to manage budgets, forecasting, and profitability Hands-on leadership style with field engagement and team coordination Experience with project management software (Viewpoint/Vista preferred) Strong understanding of labor planning, cost tracking, and billing processes Ability to operate with autonomy while driving accountability across teams Experience within a manufacturing environment What Sets This Opportunity Apart High-visibility role on complex, large-scale projects Strong compensation + bonus structure Leadership impact with autonomy to run projects your way Stable pipeline of work with a well-established mechanical team Clear opportunity to influence operations, strategy, and project execution Ideal Candidate Profile Mechanical PM who has grown into a Senior PM or Program-level leader Comfortable owning financials, field execution, and client relationships Thrives in fast-paced, high-accountability environments Experience with data centers or mission-critical projects is a big plus
