The PM will be responsible for ensuring these Projects are built on time, under budget, and with a stellar safety record. The successful candidate will be a leader with management skills and a passion for constructing renewable energy infrastructure. The individual will need to navigate the transition from a startup company to a larger organization, while working with internal and external stakeholders. This position will be responsible for: Construction support of both greenfield and M&A development assets Implementation of Project Management best practices, including cost, schedule, and risk management Negotiation and management of EPC contracts from pre-construction through commissioning and start of operations
Essential Responsibilities:
The position will be responsible for the following items, as it relates to EPC Project management. Responsibilities may arise beyond this, as necessary for a growing company. Development Constructability reviews of potential land to support site control Support developers with discretionary and environmental permitting to mitigate EPC risks Review and support negotiations of offtake agreements to identify EPC flow-downs Support M&A efforts; review development and operational assets for purchase by Peregrine and identify EPC risks and opportunities Site visits to support development and M&A activities Contract and manage services for site discovery (e.g. Geotech, surveys, etc.) Execution Develop and maintain relationships with key equipment suppliers and contractors Obtain budgetary pricing for EPC services to support initial project modeling Develop and manage internal pricing tool for EPC services Development and management of Owner HSQE program Develop and maintain construction specifications and scope of work templates Coordinate with Procurement team to develop and run RFPs for EPC services and equipment supply Negotiate and manage EPC and supply contracts from execution through Substantial Completion and turnover to Operations Design phase management of 30/60/90/IFC design lifecycle including management of Owner reviews Work with and manage Owner's Engineers to ensure competent design Negotiate and manage change orders, project budgets, schedules, and scopes Troubleshoot and resolve engineering and construction issues impacting the projects, includes coordinating efforts across multiple parties and stakeholders Provide weekly and monthly progress reports for active Projects Regular travel to project sites during construction and to offices of key suppliers, engineers of record, AHJs, etc. Coordinate deliveries, installation, and commissioning of Owner-Furnished Equipment Support and manage interconnection process and obtain approvals to energize, synchronize, and commission renewable energy facilities, includes management of the interconnection and offtake agreements Coordinate and manage the commissioning process, including startup, equipment testing, and plant-wide performance testing to achieve approval for commercial operations Develop and manage Project Management team, includes talent management of personnel Required Skills/Experience Desired candidate will have the following skills or experience: Bachelor's Degree - engineering, construction management, or related field 3-5+ years of EPC management experience for utility-scale generation (wind, solar, energy storage), including high voltage infrastructure Support of business and/or project development, including estimating, constructability reviews, and risk identification Experience running RFPs, negotiating contracts, and commercial management of EPC vendors through substantial completion and start of commercial operations Monitoring and coordinating site construction activities including startup and commissioning Management of 3rd party permitting, engineering, and commissioning consultants Excels at working with cross-functional teams throughout the entire project lifecycle Ability to manage the resolution of engineering and construction related issues from both a technical and commercial aspect Familiar with civil, structural, electrical and SCADA engineering fundamentals and associated construction methodologies as it relates to renewable energy infrastructure Experience working with utilities and Balancing Authorities to construct and commission renewable energy assets Trave l: Up to 50%Salary:
The salary range for this position is $100,000 - $190,000 annually. Final compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, technical skills, education, certifications, and alignment with the role's responsibilities, as well as internal equity considerations.Bonus :
This position may be eligible to receive an annual cash incentive bonus capped at a % of your base salary and pending your performance review.Benefits :
