Company Overview Surfaces Inc. is a growing commercial site construction contractor specializing in concrete, asphalt, landscaping, snow removal, and site improvements throughout Colorado. We work with municipalities, commercial property owners, HOAs, developers, and general contractors to deliver high-quality projects on schedule and on budget. We're a growing company with an experienced ownership team. This position is an opportunity to become one of the key leaders responsible for building our operations as we continue to grow. Job Overview We're looking for an organized, proactive Project Manager who enjoys taking ownership of projects from contract award through closeout. You'll coordinate subcontractors, communicate with clients, maintain schedules, perform quality control, and keep projects moving while working closely with our leadership team. This is a hands-on role with significant responsibility and room for growth. The right candidate will help us improve our systems, build scalable processes, and become a long-term leader within the company. Responsibilities Preconstruction Solicit and evaluate subcontractor bids Build and maintain subcontractor relationships Maintain subcontractor database Track bid deadlines Assist with project turnover from estimating to operations Project Management Set up new projects Prepare and maintain project schedules Coordinate subcontractors and suppliers Manage daily project communication Visit job sites regularly: performing quality control, subcontractor performance, punchlists, and close out coordination. Financial & Administrative Review subcontractor invoices for accuracy Track change orders Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for clients Provide project updates Resolve issues quickly and professionally Ensure a positive customer experience from start to finish Requirements Driver's License 3+ years of project manager experience Experience managing subcontractors Experience with Microsoft Office Commercial concrete, asphalt, landscaping and snow management experience
