Responsibilities Your Role Explained. Roles and responsibilities of the Change Mgmt & Internal Comms Manager position include:
Change Management:
Designs and implements change management strategies that support enterprise projects, operational transformations, new technologies, culture initiatives, and process improvements; Conducts stakeholder and impact assessments to identify risk, readiness, and needed mitigation; Develops structured change plans including communication, training, sponsorship, engagement, and reinforcement components; Partners with leadership and key stakeholders to align messaging, milestones, and decision‑making across initiatives; Creates feedback loops and analyzes adoption metrics to inform adjustments, ensuring changes are understood, accepted, and sustained; Provides coaching and guidance to leaders to support them in their roles as change sponsors and communicators.
Strategic Thought Leadership:
Identifies emerging trends, risks, and opportunities to inform strategic priorities and drive proactive decision making; Serves as a strategic advisor to senior leaders, offering guidance that shapes long term plans and business direction; Facilitates alignment across teams by connecting enterprise level vision to operational execution; Partners cross functionally to evaluate strategic initiatives and ensure they are effectively prioritized and sequenced.
Program & Project Management:
Directs communication planning for complex, cross‑functional programs and enterprise initiatives to advance organizational priorities and reinforce key messages; Establishes communication frameworks, roadmaps, and governance aligned with program objectives and business strategy; Partners with stakeholders to shape transparent, engaging communication approaches that strengthen understanding; Anticipates needs and adjusts plans to maintain clarity, consistency, and smooth execution across the organization.
Corporate Communications:
Develops and manages enterprise-wide communication strategies, vehicles, and cadence that increase employee engagement and alignment; Develops and delivers clear, timely, and meaningful internal communications that support organizational goals and enhance employee understanding; Creates messaging frameworks for major initiatives, executive communications, and enterprise‑wide programs; Ensures communication tone, style, and messaging strengthen culture, reflect organizational values, and promote employee engagement; Establishes communication standards, templates, and best practices that ensure consistency and clarity across departments; Develops KPIs, dashboards, and measurement standards to assess the effectiveness of internal communications, using insights to shape strategy, enhance channel performance, and guide ongoing optimization; Regularly evaluates channel performance and implements enhancements to increase reach, clarity, and employee engagement. Other duties as required: Job may require fulfilling other incidental or related duties as assigned, assisting and training others, and performing duties of higher rated positions from time to time for developmental purposes. Qualifications What We're Looking For. To ensure success within this role, we are looking for a candidate with the following skillsets and experience: Education Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent work experience preferred. Experience 5+ years of proven experience designing and executing enterprise-level change management strategies and communication plans for large-scale or complex initiatives, as well as partnering with senior leaders and cross-functional teams required. 5+ years of experience applying strategic thinking and thought leadership to influence organizational direction, improve processes, and support enterprise-wide initiatives required. 3+ years of experience with direct or indirect leadership of teams, delivering process improvements, and strong operational results preferred. Skills & Knowledge Ability to simplify complex information and tailor messages to diverse audiences. Certifications PMO Certification preferred. Preferred hiring/work states include Arizona, Colorado, Idaho, Kansas, Missouri, or Texas. This position requires travel, which may fluctuate based on business needs. In general, you must be able to travel once every other month to our Colorado Service Center in Colorado Springs, CO. The pay range for this position is $103,168.00 - $165,110.00 annually; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills and experience. The company also offers a full range of medical, financial and other benefits, including eligibility for the company's performance sharing plan and paid time off such as holidays, vacation, sick and personal holidays.
