Decks & Design Project Manager Company:

Full-Time | Hybrid (Field & Office)Compensation:
$60,000 Annually + Performance Bonuses (Based on Margin & Reviews) The "Client Concierge" Mission The Deck & Design Project Manager acts as the ultimate Client Concierge . You own the homeowner relationship from the first handshake through the final payment. Your goal is to provide a seamless, white-glove experience for the client while protecting project margins and insulating the field production team from administrative interruptions. Key Responsibilities I.Sales & Estimating Lead Response:
Respond to company-provided leads with speed and professionalism.On-Site Consultations:
Conduct thorough site visits to scope deck work, take precise measurements, and align with homeowner goals.Profitable Estimating:
Generate accurate proposals using company guidelines to ensure a 40%+ gross margin threshold (unless otherwise approved by management).The Close:
Deliver compelling sales presentations, overcome objections, and maintain an aggressive follow-up cadence to secure signed contracts. II.Material Sourcing & Operations Handoff Procurement:
Identify, calculate, and facilitate the ordering of all deck materials.Inventory Readiness:
Ensure 100% of materials are staged or available before the project start date to prevent field delays.Strategic Handoff:
Lead the Pre-Construction Meeting on-site with the homeowner and Superintendent to ensure total alignment on scope and expectations before work begins.Production Sync:
Maintain daily communication with the Superintendent to track milestones and resolve field issues before they reach the client. III.Client Concierge & Conflict Resolution Primary Liaison:
Serve as the main point of contact for the homeowner, allowing field crews to stay focused on production.Proactive Engagement:
Provide consistent updates (daily/weekly) regarding crew arrivals and deliveries. Perform in-person site check-ins during the build.Conflict Resolution:
Act as the lead problem-solver. Handle plan discrepancies or client concerns under pressure, ensuring a "solution-first" approach that protects both the project's reputation and its budget.Change Order Management:
Professionalize the change-order process; ensure all updates are estimated, signed, and paid for before work begins to protect project profitability. IV.Administrative Excellence CRM Integrity:
Maintain meticulous records of all client communications, contracts, and estimates in the company CRM.Financial Oversight:
Manage the billing cycle, including collecting initial deposits, progress payments, and final balances.The Final Walkthrough:
Lead the final project sign-off and execute our "5-Star Review" protocol within two weeks of project completion. Success Metrics (KPIs) A successful Deck & Design Project Manager will be measured by:Project Profitability:
Consistently hitting or exceeding the 40% Gross Margin target.Volume Metrics:
Hitting or exceeding a goal of $150,000 in signed contracts per month.Client Satisfaction:
Securing written reviews within 14 days of completion.Schedule Accuracy:
Minimizing "down days" caused by material delays or procurement errors. Qualifications & Requirements The "Closer"Mindset:
Proven track record in residential sales or deck project management.Technical Accuracy:
Ability to calculate material takeoffs and labor costs with high precision.Communication:
Exceptional verbal and written skills; ability to navigate difficult conversations and de-escalate client concerns.Tech Savvy:
Proficient in CRM systems and Microsoft 365 (Excel & Outlook).Logistics:
Reliable transportation and a professional appearance for in-home consultations.Pay:
