Full Time Temporary Position Overview Kiewit Infrastructure Engineers (KIE) is seeking a Scheduling Intern to perform planning & scheduling activities on large construction projects this summer. This hands-on role will give you the opportunity to directly impact the scheduling outcome, from estimate through project completions, over a broad range of projects. By analyzing, monitoring, and maintaining the projects' progress, you'll prepare and analyze reports, develop alternative solutions, and be a key team member in driving successful project completion. District Overview Kiewit Infrastructure Engineers seamlessly transitions solutions from design to construction through the collaborative efforts of Design Engineering, Design Management, Proposals, Estimating, and Integrated Project Controls. Responsibilities Develop resource loaded schedules, including lists of activities, major milestones, critical approvals, long lead procurement items and other critical project deliverables to be scheduled and tracked for the project. Develop and maintain schedule logic and constraints, realistic activity durations, available manpower, and resources. Provide scheduling analysis for delays and impacts to identify and mitigate project risks. Assist in the management of internal controls including implementing new process controls, measuring the project's performance, reporting on project status, and ensuring the integrity and validity of internally and externally disseminated information. Gain and apply knowledge of engineering, procurement, and construction terminology to develop and maintain critic path logic networks and accumulate/access historical data for use in maintaining realistic future planning and forecasting. Provide guidance, direction, and specialized assistance for the resolution of difficult project control problems. Collaborate effectively with various project teams, field personnel, and clients to create accurate reports and achieve goals under deadline. Attend regular meetings and give statistical reports as needed. Qualifications Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related Highly motivated, with a demonstrated passion for excellence and taking initiative Strong work ethic, willing to do what it takes to get the job done right the first time Demonstrated commitment to ethics and integrity Passion for safety, with the ability to help us ensure that nobody gets hurt Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills Team player with the ability to work independently to meet deadlines, goals and objectives Strong organization, time management, and attention to detail

Understand and follow oral and written instructions, including warning signs, equipment use, and other policies. Work during normal operating hours to organize and complete work within given deadlines. Work overtime and weekends as required.

Base Compensation:
