Job Title:
Construction Project Manager Job Description We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Construction Project Manager to join our team in Brookfield, CT. You will play a pivotal role in managing complex construction projects in the commercial, clean room, pharmaceutical, and semiconductor sectors. This position requires exceptional leadership, organizational, and communication skills to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. Responsibilities Oversee all phases of construction projects from initiation to completion. Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and resources. Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project requirements are met. Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and quality standards. Monitor project progress and make adjustments as needed to meet deadlines and budget constraints. Prepare and present regular project status reports to stakeholders. Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the construction process. Foster a collaborative and positive work environment. Conduct regular site inspections to ensure adherence to project specifications and safety protocols. Implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential project risks. Manage procurement of materials and equipment, ensuring timely delivery and cost-effectiveness. Lead project meetings and facilitate effective communication among all project team members. Essential Skills Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction project management, focusing on commercial, clean room, pharmaceutical, or semiconductor projects. Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale construction projects. Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in project management software such as MS Project, Procore, and Sage. Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines. PMP or similar certification is a plus. Strong analytical and decision-making abilities. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively. Additional Skills & Qualifications Knowledge of sustainable construction practices and LEED certification is a plus. Experience with change orders, RFIs, submittals, and take-offs. Experience working on healthcare projects and/or manufacturing, clean rooms, and biopharma. Emphasis on scheduling and project coordination. Familiarity with estimation, safety protocols, and Bluebeam software. Work Environment The work hours are from 7 am to 4 pm, and the work will be split between the company's headquarters in Brookfield, CT, and various worksite locations in Connecticut (Fairfield, Hartford, New Haven counties) and one in Poughkeepsie, NY. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $120000.00 - $160000.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
