Torrison Stone & Garden , based in Durham CT, is a design-build landscape & hardscape company specializing in high-end residential outdoor living projects. For over 25 years, we have built a reputation for delivering detail-driven, high-quality work—including basic stone maintenance, short-duration installations to complex, and multi-phase outdoor environments. Our projects often involve intricate stonework, landscape construction, and fully integrated outdoor living spaces. In addition to our design-build work, we provide property management services, maintaining and improving properties in a proactive, long-term manner. This includes ongoing care and oversight of landscape, hardscape, and outdoor living environments, ensuring each property continues to perform and evolve over time. Role Overview Torrison Stone & Garden is hiring a Project Manager to lead high-end residential landscape and hardscape design-build projects , ranging from short-duration installs (1-2 days) to multi-week builds. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for executing projects from initial design intent through completion , working closely with landscape architects, designers, and field crews. You will be expected to provide on-site supervision, coordinate crews, lead crew leaders, and ensure projects are delivered with a high level of quality, organization, and attention to detail . Responsibilities Provide on-site supervision and leadership for crews and crew leaders Work closely with the design team to translate project plans into field execution Manage multiple active projects at once (typically 2-4 crews at peak) Coordinate daily with field teams and subcontractors Oversee project flow, scheduling, and day-to-day execution Lead client communication and set clear expectations throughout the project Identify and manage change orders as needed Ensure projects are completed efficiently and to a high standard of quality Maintain organized project documentation and updates within internal systems Qualifications / Requirements 3+ years of experience in construction, landscaping, or design-build project management Proven ability to lead crews and manage projects in the field , not just from an office Strong understanding of executing high-end, detail-oriented projects Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously without losing control of details Strong written and verbal communication skills with clients and team members Highly organized with the ability to follow structured processes Ability to identify inefficiencies and contribute to improving systems and workflows Comfortable using technology, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, etc.) Experience with CRM systems (Arborgold or similar is a plus) Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus High level of ownership and accountability •Competitive salary based on experience• Torrison Garden, LLC is an award-winning landscape design, build and maintenance company that has been in business since 2000.
