Minor & Co., an established Surveying, Engineering, Environmental, and Planning firm based in Greenwich, CT, is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support the execution and coordination of projects across multiple disciplines. This role is ideal for someone with early professional experience who is ready to take on more responsibility and play a meaningful role in how projects are delivered. You will work closely with project managers and leadership to keep projects on track, coordinate across teams, and support client and municipal interactions. Full-time, Monday to Friday. Typical hours are 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with flexibility based on project demands. Key Responsibilities:
Support project managers in tracking timelines, deliverables, and budgets across multiple projects Coordinate with internal teams (Survey, Engineering, Planning, Environmental) to ensure efficient project execution Assist in managing communications with clients, vendors, and municipal agencies Help prepare proposals, reports, and permitting submissions Monitor project progress and follow up on action items to keep work moving forward Assist with permitting processes, including tracking requirements, deadlines, and submissions Maintain accurate and organized project documentation Identify and help implement improvements to workflows and internal processes Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience 1-3 years of relevant experience in project coordination, operations, or a related field Strong organizational and time management skills Clear and professional communication, both written and verbal Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Proactive mindset with a willingness to take initiative Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) Preferred but not required: Prior experience in operations, HR, project coordination, or administrative support Familiarity with permitting processes or land development terminology Interest in surveying, engineering, environmental science, planning, or related fields Experience interacting with clients or external stakeholders Experience with Google Workspace, Adobe Acrobat, and/or project tracking tools Growth Path This role is designed as a step toward Project Manager . Candidates who demonstrate strong performance and reliability will take on increasing responsibility over time.
