Job Description

Under the direct supervision of the Vice President of Facilities, the incumbent is responsible for the planning, administration, and successful execution of assigned construction and operational projects within a dynamic hotel and casino environment. This role oversees projects spanning renovations, capital improvements, promotions, and system implementations, ensuring alignment with operational goals and enhanced guest experience. The Project Manager coordinates cross-functional efforts, manages project timelines and budgets, and ensures all initiatives are delivered efficiently, safely, and in compliance with regulatory and organizational standards. The ideal candidate is experienced, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects while maintaining a strong focus on quality, operational continuity, and guest satisfaction. Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field required; or a minimum of (5) years of high-end project management experience in lieu of a degree. Preferred experience in hospitality, gaming, or resort environments, with direct involvement in construction and capital projects. Demonstrated expertise in construction disciplines, including estimating, scheduling, and cost control practices. Proven ability to develop, implement, and maintain computerized cost control systems for tracking, forecasting, and reporting project performance. Strong understanding of hotel and casino operations, including the impact of construction activities on guest experience and daily operations. Demonstrated knowledge of project management principles, construction processes, and contract administration. Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills. Strong ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment. Proven problem-solving skills with the ability to make timely, effective decisions. Proficiency in project management and business software, including: Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Project, Primavera (P6 or similar scheduling systems), Prolog and AIA documentation systems (preferred). Ability to perform all essential job functions effectively and efficiently. Demonstrated capability to meet performance expectations across all core responsibilities. Must possess a valid driver's license.
