Job Description
Project Manager 5.0 5.0 out of 5 stars A leading manufacturer of high-quality precast concrete building solutions is looking to hire a Project Manager to oversee the execution of precast building projects from contract award through final closeout. The Project Manager will complete drawings using CAD and ensure that goals of projects are accomplished within prescribed time frames and funding parameters. You will be the advocate for the customer while overseeing projects the most cost effective, efficient way for the company. Responsibilities
- Manage assigned precast concrete projects from kickoff through completion
- Review contracts, project specifications, and scope documents
- Develop and maintain project schedules aligned with production and erection timelines
- Coordinate shop drawings, submittals, and approvals with engineering and drafting teams
- Monitor project budgets, cost tracking, and forecasting
- Lead internal project meetings and maintain clear communication with customers
- Uses computer assisted design/drafting (AutoCAD) equipment and software to develop designs.
- Create and revise production drawings (detail and assembly drawings).
- Makes final sketch of proposed drawing, checking dimension of parts, materials to be used, relation of one part to another, and relation of various parts to whole structure or project.
- Sketches rough layout of product and computes angles, weights, surface areas, dimensions, radii, clearances, tolerances, leverages, and location of holes.
- Interface with customers on inquiries Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field, preferred
- 3+ years of experience in precast concrete, structural concrete, or erection experience
- Knowledge of PCI standards and industry best practices, preferred
- Ability to read and interpret structural drawings and specifications
- Strong understanding of construction contracts and cost controls
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with project management software a plus
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously #ST101
Pay:
$95,000.00- $120,000.
