Job Description

The Project Coordinator reports to the Lead Project Coordinator. This position provides administrative support to multiple Project Managers (PM). 1-3 years Operations Administrative support, Utility/Telecommunications experience is preferred but not required Ability to exercise mature judgment and suggest the appropriate action when working with employees, management, or customers Proficiency with the use of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat Associate's degree in business or related field, preferred but not required Successful completion of preplacement drug test, motor vehicle, and background check successful completion of preplacement business references checks

Demonstrate effective in person and electronic communications skills, attention to detail and high level of accuracy in your work Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment, balancing the support to multiple project managers Exceptional organization, prioritization and time management skills Ability to communicate all relevant job details and requirements to supervisor Who we are Established in August of 2000, Phoenix Communications has grown to become the Northeast's leading provider of fiber optic construction services to the telecommunications industry and municipalities throughout the northeastern United States. Responsibilities The Project Coordinator reports to the Lead Project Coordinator. This position provides administrative support to multiple Project Managers (PM). Regularly travel in-state and out-of-state to various work sites to assist in job oversight and documentation Assist in coordinating and communicating PM schedules Create and execute traffic management plans Communicate daily materials needs and actions for ongoing projects to PM Coordinate access to customer sites and various underground systems Create and maintain the daily summary report Survey and document all data from the field accurately Carry out other duties assigned by management Work Conditions Must be able to work a minimum of 40 hours per week.
