Job Description
Position Overview - We are seeking a highly skilled, detail-oriented Maximo EAM Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of enterprise IT and asset management initiatives. This role is responsible for managing projects end-to-end, ensuring delivery within approved scope, schedule, and budget. The ideal candidate brings strong expertise in IBM Maximo and enterprise asset management (EAM) systems, along with experience in GIS, customer engagement platforms, SharePoint, and emerging technologies. This position requires the ability to operate effectively in complex, cross-functional environments, providing both technical and functional leadership while driving alignment across business and IT stakeholders. Position Responsibilities
- Lead complex, multi-workstream IT and EAM programs across platforms such as IBM Maximo, GIS, customer engagement systems, AI-enabled technologies, and SharePoint.
- Define and manage project scope, deliverables, timelines, budgets, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including schedules, resource allocation, and dependency tracking.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams, including IT, operations, vendors, and consulting partners.
- Conduct business process analysis and document current and future state workflows to support system implementations and optimization.
- Oversee system configuration, integrations, and data flows to ensure alignment with business and technical requirements.
- Plan and lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT), training, and change management activities to support successful adoption.
- Identify, track, and mitigate risks, issues, and dependencies; escalate when appropriate.
- Ensure compliance with cybersecurity, data privacy, and regulatory requirements.
- Provide executive-level reporting, including status updates, dashboards, and presentations.
- Drive effective stakeholder communication, facilitating workshops and decision-making sessions.
- Manage vendor performance, contracts, Statements of Work (SOWs), and service level agreements (SLAs).
- Support post-implementation activities, including lessons learned, benefits realization, and continuous improvement.
- Align project outcomes with organizational goals and digital transformation strategies. Position Qualifications
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- 7+ years of project management experience delivering enterprise IT or EAM solutions.
- Proven experience with IBM Maximo or similar enterprise asset management platforms.
- Strong understanding of asset management processes, work order systems, and utility or infrastructure operations.
- Experience working within structured PMO environments and governance frameworks.
- Project management certification such as PMP, PgMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent (preferred).
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex stakeholder environments.
- Strong communication, leadership, and facilitation skills.
- Experience with GIS platforms, customer engagement systems, SharePoint, or emerging technologies is preferred.
- Familiarity with Agile or hybrid delivery methodologies is a plus.
