Summary/ Objective

The PMO Manager is responsible for directing CAPEX investments and New Product Introduction (NPI) engineering portfolios across Datwyler Pharma Packaging's US manufacturing sites (Middletown, DE and Pennsauken, NJ). In this role, the position will manage the PMO office, oversee 1-5 direct reports, and standardize project governance and technical delivery across multiple services. Essential Functions - Identifies, plans and directs engineering projects and monitors status to ensure timeliness of completion (capital investment, process, quality, continuous improvements and safety)

Interacts with key stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables

Derives tasks and resources needed for successful project execution

Develops and maintains detailed schedules and project plans

Devises and implements recovery strategies for overdue tasks and deliverables

Analyzes project critical path and risk assessments to deploy risk mitigation strategies

Leads global investment projects for local teams

Leads NPI projects for the respective site

Develops and manages local investment / capital expenditures (CAPEX) budget

Communicates project status to stakeholders and senior management Additional Responsibilities Ensures both sites are compliant with the department's requirements by identifying the requirements (regulatory, corporate, and normative) applicable to the site, in terms of project and transfer and analyzing the gaps and implement appropriate action plans

Provides technical support for Operations, Quality, Sales & Technical Services

Ensures the implementation of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and the Quality System in its department

Develops a department budget and submit it to management for approval & tracking the budget periodically and reassess it on fixed periods by updating assumptions

Anticipates the organization of the department based on long-term forecasts, strategic directions of the company and the needs of its customers

Establishes the department's dashboards based on information from direct deferrals and analyze departmental indicators to identify deviations or deviations from the guidelines set and/or areas for improvement Consolidates and validates applications related to the CAPEX site

Develops and updates the site's master plan for site infrastructure & ensure the study and implementation of engineering projects Required Education and Experience Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or related field (Master's degree preferred)

Proven experience as a Project Manager in CAPEX projects within the pharmaceutical industry

Strong understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes and regulations

Excellent leadership and communication skills Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Strong analytical, judgmental and problem solving skills

Great understanding of all financials related to project management such as forecasting, budgeting, cost estimation, building business cases, ridged scope management

Knowledge of complex project management tools (e.g. MS Project)
