Job Description
RESPONSIBILITIES
Kforce has a client that is seeking an experienced Architect Project Manager for a growing architectural firm in Boca Raton, FL. This is an exciting opportunity to join a collaborative, client-focused team that delivers innovative design solutions across educational, higher education, and civic projects.Summary:
The Architect Project Manager will oversee projects from concept through construction administration, ensuring design quality, client satisfaction, schedule adherence, and budget performance. This individual will serve as the primary client contact while leading multidisciplinary architectural and engineering teams throughout the project lifecycle.Responsibilities:
- Manage projects from design through construction administration
- Serve as primary liaison for clients, overseeing project scope, schedules, budgets, and communication
- Coordinate with internal teams and external consultants to ensure successful project delivery
- Assist with project production and design development using Revit
- Manage project financials including forecasting, budgeting, invoicing, and contract administration
- Ensure compliance with building codes, permitting requirements, and quality control standards
- Review plans, reports, estimates, and calculations for accuracy
- Participate in client presentations, proposal development, and project pursuits
- Support internal peer reviews and mentor team members in a highly collaborative environment
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture from an accredited university
- Architectural licensure preferred but not required
- 8+ years of architectural project management and design experience
- Experience managing project budgets, forecasting, invoicing, and contracts
- Strong knowledge of building codes, permitting processes, and construction administration
- Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office
- Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Experience with Lumion, Deltek Ajera, and PowerPoint is a plus
- Experience with K-12, Higher Education, or Civic projects preferred
