Job Description

Description We are seeking an organized and proactive Project Coordinator with permit experience to support construction, development, or property improvement projects in Boca Raton, FL. This role will coordinate project documentation, manage permitting activities, track timelines, and serve as a liaison between internal teams, municipalities, contractors, and vendors to help keep projects moving on schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Coordinate day-to-day project administrative activities from kickoff through closeout + Prepare, submit, and track permit applications, revisions, and supporting documentation + Work with city and county agencies, including local municipalities in Boca Raton and surrounding areas, to obtain approvals and resolve permit comments + Review plans, applications, and project documents for completeness and accuracy before submission + Track project milestones, permit status, inspections, and deadlines + Schedule inspections and follow up on corrections, approvals, and final sign-offs + Maintain organized records of permits, plans, contracts, licenses, and related project files + Communicate regularly with project managers, contractors, architects, engineers, and clients regarding status updates and outstanding items + Assist with vendor coordination, meeting scheduling, and general project support + Help ensure compliance with local building codes, zoning requirements, and permitting procedures
Requirements Qualifications:
+ 2+ years of experience in project coordination, permit coordination, construction administration, or a related role + Experience handling permits within construction, architecture, engineering, real estate development, or property management + Knowledge of municipal permitting processes and inspections + Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines + Excellent written and verbal communication skills + Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with project management software is a plus + Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow through on details
