Mizner Development has an active pipeline spanning commercial acquisitions, flex industrial, and residential development — and this role is the central point of contact in our office for everything that moves between us, our subcontractors, and our clients. This is a pivotal role coordinating multifaceted construction initiatives: ensuring seamless communication among stakeholders, owning the bid and change order workflow from both directions, and delivering high-quality results on schedule. You'll work directly with ownership and project leads, see how deals come together end-to-end, and have a clear path to grow into project management or development as you learn the business. If you thrive in fast-paced environments and are passionate about construction and development, this is your chance to make a meaningful impact in shaping vibrant communities. Duties Serve as the primary office point of contact for subcontractors, vendors, and clients across all active projects. Solicit, level, and track subcontractor bids — maintain bid logs and ensure scopes are apples-to-apples before they go up the chain.
Process change orders:
issuing, tracking, and reconciling COs from subs as well as those initiated by clients, ensuring compliance with project specifications and budgets. Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and design teams to develop and maintain detailed project schedules Assist in preparing and reviewing contracts, change orders, and procurement documents. Coordinate on-site activities by tracking progress and resolving issues promptly to keep projects moving. Monitor project timelines, prioritize tasks effectively, and ensure timely completion of deliverables. Qualifications 2+ years of proven experience in construction site coordination or project management within real estate development or construction environments. Experience with contracts administration, procurement processes, and change order management. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining real attention to detail Effective written and verbal communication skills to liaise confidently with clients, contractors, vendors, and internal teams. Ability to adapt quickly to changing project needs with a proactive approach. You'll be in the middle of a real, active deal pipeline. Not pushing paper for the sake of paper. The work directly impacts project margins and client relationships. Join us in transforming visions into reality. We're committed to fostering an energetic environment where your skills contribute directly to innovative development projects that shape communities for generations to come. Your expertise in project coordination will be valued as we work together toward successful delivery from groundbreaking to grand opening.
