It's owner has strong reputation for being the go-to person for anyone who is curious about challenges engineers face in the structural space. Being a smaller firm, they are known for their more friendly approach to working life, avoiding the corporate pressures many engineering companies are leaning towards in this decade. About the roleAn exciting opportunity for highly skilled structural inspectors looking to combine their technical prowess with strong people management skills to oversee all aspects of their concrete repair construction projects. These will consist of multi-unit residential and condominium projects. Key responsibilitiesSigning and sealing their work product and that under his responsible supervision.

Performing and/or supervising 40 year re-certifications.

Determining the cause, origin, and duration of reported damages. This involves daily trips to job sites (typically, single-family residences, condos) in the South Florida area.

Scheduling site visits and travelling to field inspections, Special Inspections, and Threshold inspections.

Completing sight investigation/ inspection reports.

Types of damage routinely investigated include: structural damage, roof damage, moisture intrusion, interior water damage (plumbing and other causes), settlement and other foundation problems, construction defects, general building material failures, and all types of storm-related damage.
