About the Role Due to continued growth and a strong backlog of awarded work, CBT Builders is expanding its project management team. We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead high-profile concrete restoration, waterproofing, and facade rehabilitation projects throughout South Florida. This is not an entry-level PM role. We are looking for a proven construction leader who can independently manage complex projects, drive schedules, protect margins, lead subcontractors, and serve as the primary point of contact for owners, engineers, and consultants. We hire experienced professionals and trust them to lead. You will have the authority to make decisions, solve problems, and drive project success without being micromanaged. actively investing in people, systems, and infrastructure What You'll Be Responsible For You will have full ownership of projects from pre-construction through closeout. Pre-Construction & Setup Contract review, drawing and specification analysis, structural and architectural plan reading Budget development and cost control setup Build and drive critical path schedules using Microsoft Project Quantity takeoffs and material surveys using Bluebeam Full project setup and documentation in Procore Field Execution Manage 2-4 concurrent projects ranging from $500,000 to $5,000,000+ Direct field crews, subcontractors, and key leads on active job sites Enforce QA/QC through in-progress field inspections Adapt daily schedules for delays, weather, and trade coordination Financial & Contract Management Own project budgets, cost tracking, and monthly forecasting Identify, document, and execute change orders proactively
- before the window closes Manage pay applications and contract compliance Protect project profitability and flag issues early Owner & Stakeholder Communication Serve as primary point of contact for condo associations, hotel management, and owners' reps Coordinate with engineers, inspectors, and design professionals throughout construction Lead project meetings; generate RFIs, action items, and meeting minutes What Success Looks Like Within your first year you will: Successfully manage multiple active projects simultaneously Maintain strong client relationships that generate repeat business Deliver projects on schedule and within budget Protect and improve project profitability Drive proactive change order recovery — not reactive cleanup Establish yourself as a key leader in CBT's growing South Florida restoration division What We're Looking For Required 5+ years managing commercial concrete restoration, waterproofing, or facade rehabilitation•general contracting experience alone will not be considered Strong understanding of structural repair systems and building envelope restoration Procore proficient•project setup, documentation, cost tracking Microsoft Project proficient•build and manage CPM schedules independently Bluebeam proficient•takeoffs and plan review Strong financial management•you manage cost reports, not just schedules Ability to operate independently with minimal supervision from day one Valid driver's license; must be local to Miami-Dade or Broward County Preferred South Florida restoration market experience Condo association and hotel restoration experience Bilingual English/Spanish How to Apply Submit your resume along with: A brief summary of your most relevant restoration project experience A project list including scope, contract value, and your specific role Applications without commercial concrete restoration or waterproofing experience will not be reviewed.
