Project CAPEX Manager About the Role Location United States of America Florida Gibsonton Remote vs. Office Office/Site only Company Siemens Energy, Inc. Organization Gas Services Business Unit Central Full / Part time Full-time Experience Level Manager / Team Leader A Snapshot of Your Day In this role, you will manage the BVT Expansion Project within the Operations Tampa manufacturing facility, ensuring this major capital expenditure (Capex) initiative is delivered on time and within budget to support the growth of the Blades & Vanes business unit. The position centers on three key areas: Capex Project Management, Financial & Resource Control, and Stakeholder & Risk Management—covering the full project lifecycle from planning and budgeting through execution, reporting, and closure. The ideal candidate brings advanced project management expertise in capital projects, with proven skills in scoping, budgeting, scheduling, procurement, and risk mitigation, aligned with the expectations of a Senior Professional (P3) working with limited supervision. How You'll Make an Impact Responsible for CAPEX project planning and execution, managing scope, schedules, and resources for the BVT Expansion Project. Lead all phases of the project lifecycle, ensuring that plans, deliverables, and timelines are consistently met. Direct project teams by assigning responsibilities, tracking progress, and driving milestone completion. Manage vendor activities to ensure timely, high-quality deliverables. Oversee financial and resource management, including capital budget control, while leading the procurement of project equipment, materials, and services. Prepare financial forecasts, status reports, and variance analyses for stakeholders, and oversee project invoicing and billing to ensure accuracy and timeliness. Focus on stakeholder communication and risk mitigation, serving as the primary project contact. Identify and resolve risks to protect schedule and budget targets, ensuring deliverables meet internal quality standards and regulatory requirements. Implement change management strategies for smooth integration into operations. What You Bring Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. 5-8 years of experience as a Project Manager with a proven track record of managing capital expenditure (Capex) projects, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment. Experience managing complex projects independently with limited supervision, consistent with a Senior Professional (P3) level. Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification. Strong capabilities in project and process management, including project scoping, scheduling, implementation, and closure. Experience overseeing the full project management lifecycle and driving process improvement initiatives. Solid financial and risk management skills, including budgeting, forecasting, procurement, and risk mitigation. Strong influencing and negotiation skills, with a high degree of accountability and critical‑thinking ability. Candidates with experience can be considered for a higher level or vice versa. Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.
