Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Hours per week: 40 hours Employment type: Full-time Work location: In person — Hallandale Beach, FL About the Role AS Hallandale Investment LLC is seeking an experienced and hands-on Project Manager / Construction Superintendent to lead and oversee all renovation and demolition activities at our commercial office property in Hallandale Beach, FL. The ideal candidate is a seasoned construction professional who thrives on the job site, takes full ownership of project execution, and has a strong background managing interior office renovation and selective demolition scopes. Key Responsibilities Provide full on-site supervision of renovation and demolition operations on a daily basis (Mon-Fri, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM) Plan, schedule, and coordinate all trades, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery Review and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and scopes of work Conduct daily site walks to monitor progress, quality of work, and safety compliance Enforce all OSHA safety standards and company safety protocols; maintain a clean and safe job site Manage material procurement, deliveries, and inventory tracking Shop for and obtain competitive quotes from subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors; compare bids and present recommendations to ownership Identify and resolve field issues, conflicts, and RFIs in a timely manner Document daily site reports, progress photos, punch lists, and inspection logs Coordinate permit inspections with local authorities and ensure all work is code-compliant Communicate project status, risks, and schedule updates directly to ownership/management Manage change orders, budget tracking, and cost control in coordination with the owner Qualifications & Requirements Minimum 5 years of experience as a Construction Superintendent or Project Manager on commercial renovation/demolition projects Proven experience managing office TI (tenant improvement), gut renovations, or commercial demolition scopes Strong understanding of construction sequencing, trade coordination, and building systems (MEP, structural, finishes) Ability to read and understand architectural and engineering drawings and specifications Working knowledge of Florida Building Code and permitting processes OSHA 30 certification required (or ability to obtain prior to start) Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills Proficient with project management tools (Procore, Buildertrend, or similar) and Microsoft Office / Google Workspace Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Must be available to work on-site full-time: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM; must also be available for occasional night shifts as project needs require Nice to Have Experience working in South Florida (Broward / Miami-Dade counties)
Language:
