Job Description
The ideal candidate is a highly motivated project management professional with strong technical aptitude, financial awareness, and schedule management experience. This individual will serve as a central point of coordination across development, engineering, procurement, interconnection, and leadership teams to ensure projects advance efficiently while identifying and mitigating risks. Key Responsibilities Manage utility-scale battery energy storage projects during development and pre-construction phases. Partner with development teams to evaluate project opportunities and determine project viability. Review land, site, and GIS data to support project advancement decisions. Develop and maintain project schedules and critical path milestones. Track project budgets, CAPEX estimates, spend forecasts, and financial metrics. Lead procurement activities and coordinate equipment sourcing strategies. Support contracting activities with EPC contractors and other vendors. Prepare management presentations, project approval materials, and executive updates. Identify, communicate, and mitigate technical, commercial, schedule, permitting, and interconnection risks. Coordinate closely with project engineers and technical specialists throughout project development. Facilitate cross-functional collaboration among engineering, development, procurement, finance, and leadership teams. Maintain project momentum in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. Required Qualifications 1-10 years of Project Management experience. Willingness to work on-site in Juno Beach, FL. (Remote candidates in the Midwest/Central U.S. could be considered if they have sufficient experience) Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business (with technical experience), or a related field. Experience managing large-scale infrastructure, energy, industrial, utility, or renewable energy projects. Strong project scheduling and project coordination skills. Understanding of project budgets, cost forecasting, and financial decision-making. Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities. Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting renewable energy projects, particularly battery energy storage, solar, wind, or power generation projects. Experience in project development or pre-construction environments. Familiarity with utility-scale project lifecycles. GIS exposure or experience evaluating development sites. Exposure to EPC contracting and procurement processes. Understanding of interconnection processes and transmission-related risks. Engineering background or previous experience working in highly technical industries.
