Long Term Contract Job Description We are seeking an experienced Project Management Consultant to support Early-Stage Solar Engineering & Construction (E&C) initiatives for one of the world s largest renewable energy construction organizations. This role will work closely with the Solar Regional Lead Project Manager to manage solar projects through the pre-construction phase, ensuring each project is technically feasible, financially viable, and ready for successful handoff to the construction team. This opportunity is ideal for professionals with a blend of project management, financial analysis, and technical aptitude who are looking to grow within the renewable energy sector. Key Responsibilities Take ownership of assigned solar projects during the early-stage development process Manage projects to ensure they are technically feasible, schedule-compliant, commercially supported, and financially viable Analyze technical and financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities Develop, maintain, and manage capital budgets for assigned projects Support development and permitting activities by coordinating with internal subject matter experts Assist with engineering coordination, problem resolution, and optimization opportunities Support development of construction plans and schedules Participate in commercial contract negotiations and execution Utilize multiple software tools to manage project data, deliverables, and reporting Communicate project updates to executive leadership with guidance from senior management Maintain team organization, project documentation, and readiness for project transitions Required Qualifications Bachelor s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or Engineering 6 10 years of relevant project management experience Strong financial analysis and capital budgeting experience Excellent organizational and multitasking skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Preferred Qualifications Experience in solar, renewable energy, or construction projects Understanding of technical and mechanical project variables Strong interest in long-term project management career growth Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
