Job Description

Project Manager - Heavy / Highway (Bridge) Leware Construction Company of Florida, Inc. is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team workingas a trusted partner with FDOT and local municipalities . As a Project Manager, you will work closely with our team in the office and the field to ensure projects are completed according to plans, specifications and schedule. If you are highly motivated and have a background in project management, we want you to apply! Key Responsibilities (Including but not limited to)
  • Project Scheduling- create and manage project schedules to ensure timely completion of each scope of work
  • Ensure that construction activities meet quality standards, specifications and regulations
  • Clear communication with contractors, subcontractors, inspectors, engineers and material suppliers
  • Orders material and coordinate schedules and delivery of materials with Superintendents and Foremen
  • Frequent travel to jobsites/projects is to be expected
  • Review plans and specifications and communicate changes/focal points to Foremen and Superintendents
  • Administrative tasks such as change orders and coding invoices
  • Assist with estimating duties (material take-offs, pricing, assembling components of bids, creating rough/budget estimates) Skills/Attributes
  • Highly organized, self-motivated individual - ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to communicate and interact effectively with all customers/clients and employees at all levels in the workplace
  • Experience with Scheduling Software such as Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project Experience
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Applications such as Word, Excel and Outlook, Adobe
  • Ability to read and analyze structure plans and specifications
  • Effective time management skills
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills Education
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred (Construction Management/Civil Engineering/Business Administration preferred) or equivalent experience
  • 3-5+ years of experience in the Construction Industry perferred
  • Industry related certifications a plus (CTQP, MOT etc.
