Job Description

System Service & Engineering is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support our growing team in Lynn Haven, FL! In this role, you will assist the Project Managers with day-to-day construction project coordination including processing invoices, generating purchase orders, coordinating deliveries, and tracking project documents and submittals.
AS AN ASSISTANT PROJECT MANAGER, YOU WILL
Prepare, process, and update project submittals Process invoices and enter data into purchase order log for Project Manager approval Generate purchase orders for vendors and subcontractors Assist Project Managers with coordinating and developing schedules, project outages, and safety documents Collaborate with the Project Manager to plan, coordinate, and oversee project activities from start to finish Communicate with clients, subcontractors, and team members to ensure project requirements are understood and met Prepare and maintain project documentation, including contracts, reports, and meeting minutes Assist with procurement and management of project materials and resources Collaborate and cross train with payroll team to ensure accuracy Provide support to estimating department as needed
WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO THE TABLE
2+ years of experience in assistant project management, construction, or a related industry Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and project management software and tools (e.g., Excel, MS Project, Procore, or similar) Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment Commitment to delivering high-quality results and proactive world class service
