Job Description

We are a fast-growing home improvement company looking for a detail-oriented Permit Tech to handle our residential construction permitting process. This is a contract-based position paid on a per-job/per-permit basis , averaging around 15 hours per week in our Milton office. As our business expands, there is strong potential for this role to transition into a full-time position for candidates with experience in bathroom remodeling coordination. Key Responsibilities Assemble complete permit packets for a variety of residential home improvement project types. Prepare and submit permit applications, Notices of Commencement (NOC), Product Approvals, and site plans (both paper and electronic submissions). Process new job intake, entering accurate customer and project details into our CRM system. Provide timely email updates to customers regarding permit status and project timelines.
Qualifications & Skills Proven Experience:
Previous experience submitting residential construction permits is required.
Tech-Savvy:
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel). Experience with QuickBooks and CRM systems is a strong plus. Attention to
Detail:
Meticulous accuracy with paperwork and documentation.
Organized & Reliable:
Exceptional time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple permit pipelines simultaneously.
Requirements:
Must be able to pass a standard background check and drug screening.
Future growth opportunity:
Candidates with prior experience in bathroom project coordination will be prioritized for future full-time expansion.
Pay:
$15.00 - $18.00 per hour
