Job Description

Job Summary We are an underground utility and excavating company based in Southwest Florida seeking an experienced Civil Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong working knowledge of heavy civil construction, including underground utilities, excavation, and earthwork. This role requires leadership, organization, and the ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining schedule, budget, and quality. Responsibilities Manage heavy civil construction projects from pre-construction through closeout Oversee scheduling, budgeting, and cost control Coordinate with field personnel, subcontractors, vendors, and clients Review plans, specifications, and contracts Track project progress and ensure compliance with timelines and project Manage submittals, RFIs, change orders, and pay applications Maintain strong communication with all project stakeholders Qualifications Experience in heavy civil construction (utilities, excavation, earthwork) Strong understanding of construction plans and specifications Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Excellent communication and leadership skills Proficiency in project management software is a plus
