+ Excellent Benefits We're partnered exclusively with an established General Contractor seeking an Assistant Project Manager to join its team in Bradenton. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious construction professional with ground-up multifamily experience who wants to work on substantial residential developments while continuing their progression toward Project Manager. The contractor has an excellent reputation across Florida and a strong track record delivering large-scale multifamily and mixed-use communities. With a healthy pipeline of work and continued growth across the region, they're looking for someone who wants to build a genuine long-term career with the business. Working closely with the Project Manager, Superintendent and wider project team, you'll help manage projects from pre-construction through final completion.

Responsibilities will include:

Assist with the day-to-day management of ground-up multifamily construction projects Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders and project documentation Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, architects and consultants Assist with subcontractor buyout, procurement and contract administration Track project schedules, budgets and cost reports Review drawings, specifications and construction documents Support progress meetings and communicate with owners and project stakeholders Identify potential project issues and help drive solutions before they impact schedule or cost Work closely with field leadership to maintain quality, safety and schedule Assist with project closeout, punch lists and turnover What We're Looking For Previous experience with a General Contractor Experience delivering multifamily, apartments or large-scale residential construction Ground-up construction experience strongly preferred Experience working as an Assistant Project Manager, Project Engineer or similar Strong understanding of RFIs, submittals, change orders and subcontractor coordination Ability to read and understand construction drawings and specifications Strong communication, organization and problem-solving skills Degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related discipline preferred but not essential Ambitious individual looking to progress into a Project Manager position This isn't an opportunity to spend the next several years stuck at APM level.
