Exempt Description The primary functions of this position includes managing post-military entrepreneurship classes with Military Transition Managers for the Department of Defense Boots to Business Programs held at Florida military installations for separating or retiring military members interested in pursuing entrepreneurship as a post-military career. The position involves coordinating class dates with the North Florida SBA District Office, and the South Florida SBA District Office coordinating dates with boots to business instructors. Examples of Duties Acts as liaison to participating Transition Assistance Managers at Florida Military Bases, and SBA District Offices, Boots to Business instructors, and maintains training material supplies. Coordinates, plans and promotes events primarily as the liaison for Florida Military Bases, the SBA North/South FL District Office, VBOC staff, and VBOC Contractors for the Boots to Business Program. Manages the
VBOC CRM
System and Sales force. Coordinates, plans and promotes in-person and virtual veteran-specific business training events, such as Boots to Business Reboots, and events for SBA Small Business Week National Veteran Small Business Week, and other VBOC training. Assists in planning meetings, webinars, conferences, or other VBOC events. Coordinate with venues, organizations, agencies, clients & others for event setup/attendance. Qualifications This position is sensitive and will require a criminal background check. Bachelor's degree from an institutionally accredited College or University in Business or Associated Discipline Experience with Customer Relationship Management Systems (CRM) Project management experience Supplemental Information
