In this energetic role, you will oversee complex program development, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, and ensure project delivery aligns with strategic goals. Your expertise will drive efficiency, quality, and innovation in aerospace engineering initiatives, fostering a collaborative environment that thrives on continuous improvement and technical excellence. This position offers an exciting opportunity to shape cutting-edge aerospace solutions while managing diverse stakeholder expectations and project scopes. Lead end-to-end project management lifecycle for aerospace initiatives, including scope definition, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure. Develop comprehensive project schedules using tools like Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or Smartsheet to ensure timely delivery within budget constraints. Facilitate requirements gathering sessions with cross-functional teams to define technical specifications and business needs accurately. Implement Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project management methodologies tailored to project demands, ensuring flexibility and control. Conduct root cause analysis and risk management activities to proactively identify issues and develop mitigation strategies. Manage vendor relationships and contracts, ensuring compliance with quality standards and cost control objectives. Utilize PPM tools such as VersionOne or ServiceNow for project tracking, reporting, and portfolio management to optimize resource allocation. Promote continuous improvement through Lean Six Sigma principles like Kaizen and process mapping to enhance operational efficiency. Coordinate team management efforts by supervising project teams, facilitating meetings with stakeholders, and fostering effective communication skills across all levels. Lead program development initiatives by designing scalable solutions aligned with organizational goals and technical specifications. Proven experience supervising complex aerospace projects or programs with a strong understanding of the project management lifecycle. Demonstrated expertise in Agile, Waterfall, or SAFe methodologies; PMP or PgMP certification preferred. Strong skills in requirements analysis, scope management, cost control, and schedule development using industry-standard tools such as Primavera P6, MS Project, or Trello. Extensive knowledge of risk management techniques including Earned Value Management (EVM) and root cause analysis methods like Six Sigma. Experience in business process modeling, process management, and technical writing related to aerospace engineering or IT infrastructure projects. Excellent leadership abilities with a track record of supervising teams and managing vendor relationships effectively. Proficiency in data analysis skills for project reporting; familiarity with Jira, Confluence, SharePoint or similar collaboration platforms is advantageous. Strong organizational skills complemented by exceptional communication skills to facilitate meetings and negotiate project scope changes confidently.
