Millwork Project Manager

Baron Manufacturing is currently seeking a highly organized and experienced Millwork Project Manager to join our team with minimal supervision. The ideal candidate has a strong background in millwork installation, 5 + years' experience with project management and excellent communication skills. This individual will need to have the ability to troubleshoot on-site issues.

We started Baron Manufacturing in 1992 and within a few years we grew into an in-house fabrication millwork and casework 100,000 sq. ft. facility. Our work earned us a loyal rapidly expanding customer base; which includes many prestigious properties and five-star establishments such as the Ritz-Carlton, Hard Rock Hotel and Casino and Nassau International Airport. Our team members are dedicated individuals who have been with us for years, and together we work unified and focused to serve our customers' needs.

Responsibilities:

Manage all phases of the project from preconstruction to installation Review shop drawings, take accurate field dimensions, and perform material takeoff Collaborate with engineering, purchasing, production, and field teams to ensure job is on time and budget Assist in developing installation schedules, logistics planning, and manpower allocation Serve as contact person for GC, architects, designers, and office team to communicate accurate progress updates, solve onsite issues, and manage expectations Manage job schedules and procurement plans Coordinate subcontractors and ensure materials, submittals, and approvals are on track Conduct site inspections to ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance with project specifications Identify scope gaps and coordinate resolutions efficiently Communicate any Change orders/RFI to office team in timely manner

Requirements:

5+ years of experience in millwork or architectural woodworking installation and management Proven ability to manage field teams in complex construction environment Must be able to read and interpret architectural, interior design, and shop drawings; as well as architectural specifications Must be fluent in English and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong knowledge of millwork fabrication, shop drawings, and field installation practices Strong organizational and time-management skills

Preferred:

Familiar with Procore, MS Project Own dependable transportation and valid driver's license to travel to job sites Pass drug test Must live in South Florida in tri-county (Miami-Dade, Broward, or Palm Beach)

$40-50/HR ; Commensurate with experience
