JOB DESCRIPTION
: The Assistant Project Manager/Superintendent (APM/Super) will report to both the Project Manager(s) and the Senior Project Manager for the Continuing Programs and Project Management Services for construction projects out of our Port Charlotte office. Our Port Charlotte Office is responsible for construction projects on the west coast of Florida. The APM/Super will provide support services for the implementation of both design and construction projects. This position will require both administrative and field support. The APM/Super may participate in developing scopes of work and schedules for design; design submissions reviews and coordination; cost review of design services and project schedules. The APM/Super will provide construction management services for all phases of projects of various sizes and types including horizontal (civil) and vertical (building) projects. Key Duties / Project specifics if applicable Assist Senior Project Manager or Project Manager with plan and specification reviews, construction takeoffs and estimates to support our bidding process Confer with A/E and governmental agencies regarding project management and coordination Keep and maintain detailed written records of the progress of the project and maintain orderly files Coordinate with multiple subcontractors and designers while providing administration of construction contracts Provide or oversee all trades and coordination of work until final completion and acceptance, verifying that the materials furnished and work performed are in accordance with the plans and specifications and other contract documents. Review, revise and coordinate with subcontractor regarding the project schedule and conduct regular progress meetings Prepare, coordinate, track and process all Requests of Information, Requests for Clarification, time extensions, and Change Orders. Experience Required:
3-5 years' experience required Technical field experience required Construction Management or Engineering degree, a plus General or Building Contractor licensure, a plus
Computer Applications Experience:
Microsoft Office Applications•Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook Bluebeam or digitizing estimating software Microsoft SharePoint or BOX file management CAD or BIM experience, a plus Preferences /

Excellent communication (written and verbal) and organizational skills Strong work ethic•willing to do what it takes to get the job done. Ability to function as a team builder/player. Ability to interact with senior management, client organization and vendors
