Full Job Description Job Summary:
South Florida Steel Erectors is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive, Structural and Miscellaneous steel Project Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting project management efforts by coordinating various aspects of construction projects. This position requires strong organizational skills, effective communication, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. The Project Coordinator will assist in ensuring that projects are completed on time, within scope, and in alignment with company standards. Making sure all Jobs are completed in a timely manner ensuring all requirements and deadlines met for the Job scope and Timeline.
Responsibilities:
Assist in the development and management of project schedules. Coordinate project activities, resources, and information to ensure smooth execution. Read and interpret blueprints and construction documents to support project planning and finalization. Maintain communication with stakeholders, including contractors, clients, and team members. Monitor project progress and prepare regular updates for Management/Administration Team. Facilitate meetings and document the discussion to track action, items and decisions. Support the procurement process by managing contracts and vendor relationships. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle, Such as OSHA Compliance, etc...
Requirements:
Proven experience in project coordination or management within the construction industry is preferred. Strong understanding of construction management principles and practices. Proficiency in blueprint reading and interpretation. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to facilitate collaboration among team members, suppliers & customers. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
