Job Description
Disaster Response Project Manager Recovery Management Group Disaster Response Cadre Join Our Disaster Response Team Recovery Management Group is seeking experienced and highly motivated Project Managers to join our Disaster Response Cadre. This is an as-needed, deployment-based position for candidates who enjoy working in fast-paced environments, are willing to work long hours under challenging conditions, and can deploy on short notice following hurricanes and other large-scale disasters. Our Disaster Response Cadre provides critical recovery services for municipalities and commercial clients throughout Florida. Team members are responsible for conducting damage assessments, managing emergency stabilization and remediation efforts, coordinating repairs, and helping clients restore essential facilities and operations following catastrophic events. Successful candidates are self-motivated, adaptable, and enjoy working long hours in challenging conditions. The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, support fellow team members, follow direction, demonstrate dependability, and deliver exceptional service to our clients under demanding conditions is essential. - Deploy immediately to assigned disaster areas following storm events.
- Conduct site inspections and document property damage using technology provided by RMG.
- Oversee/Manage emergency mitigation services including water extraction, structural drying, debris removal, and demolition.
- Manage contractors performing emergency repairs and reconstruction.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, daily reports, and job progress.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and disaster response procedures. Job Expectations
- Work in fast-paced, high pressure disaster environments.
- Deploy with short notice.
- Travel throughout Florida.
- Work 12+ hour shifts, up to seven days per week during active deployments.
- Remain deployed for several weeks depending on operational needs.
- Ability to work as part of a team and support others.
- Work outdoors in changing weather conditions and environments.
- Adapt quickly to rapidly changing priorities and deadlines. Qualifications
- Experience in disaster recovery, emergency response, restoration or construction preferred.
- Excellent communication abilities with proficiency in mobile technology.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a background check. Compensation & Benefits
- $40/hour, with higher compensation available based on experience and qualifications.
- Lodging provided.
- Daily per diem provided.
- Mileage reimbursement at the current federal rate. Other RMG is also seeking qualified personnel for the following roles:

- Experienced Roofing Project Managers Compensation for these positions will be based on experience and working in disaster conditions.
